Danone Nutricia moves $10m media account from Mediacom to Maxus

Toddler brand Danone Nutricia has moved its $10m media account from Mediacom to Maxus.

It comes after a competitive pitch where it is understood Mediacom did not repitch.

The announcement: 

Media agency Maxus has been appointed after a competitive pitch by ,to handle media buying and strategy for its toddler brands.

The appointment was effective 1 January 2016.

The move is part of a regional review being conducted by the brand with Australia one of the first markets to see change.

Maxus Sydney managing director, Katy Websdell, said: “We’re thrilled to take on Danone Nutricia as a client. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with them and drive engagement and connection on the company’s Aptamil and Karicare toddler ranges. It’s a great way to start the year.”

The appointment follows recent new business wins for Maxus with San Pellegrino, industry body Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC), and Ubisoft joining its client roster. The new business wins total an estimated additional $10m in billings for Maxus.
