Maybelline New York and Bastion Agency to erect space-themed activation at Bondi Beach

Maybelline New York will be setting up an activation at Bondi Beach to celebrate its Sky High Mascara product, via Bastion Agency.

The announcement:

COME IN COMMAND, COME IN COMMAND: Maybelline New York, the world’s leading cosmetics brand, is taking lash impact to the next level with their largest Australian brand experience to date. The celebration of the viral TikTok cult-favourite is set to make waves at the iconic Bondi Beach.

Crashing onto Australian shores, this striking life size rocket will boldly go where no lash has gone before – taking consumers out of this world to experience WHY this is #1 selling mascara across Australia and worldwide!

This galactic pop-up is a portal to explore beyond the outer limits of what lash-technology thought possible, and experience Limitless Length and Beyond! Experience the magic of the stars with exciting interactive elements, inspired by the Yayoi Kusama infinity room, with each star representing one of Sky High’s 100,000 five-star global reviews. Beachgoers can capture the moment in a cosmic mirror and grab their very own Sky High mascara sample to take home.

Join the Sky High Club, with a chance to win 1 of 20 prize packs, featuring 7 x full-size Sky High Mascaras (including all shades; Very Black, Cosmic Black, Tinted Primer, Brown and the NEW colours of Burgundy Haze, Blue Mist and Plum Twilight).

Prepare for liftoff from 31st January to 2nd February, as this unforgettable installation executed by Bastion Agency lands at Bondi Beach – in prime position right by the main lifeguard tower. Look out for Maybelline New York’s planes which will be flying across the Sydney shoreline and across Bondi 11-11:30am showing Australia that Length Does Matter!

  • Friday, 31st January: 10:30AM-7PM
  • Saturday, 1st February: 10AM-7PM
  • Sunday, 2nd February: 10AM-7PM

Sky High Mascara can be found at Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Coles, Woolworths and Big W for $25.99.
