Clemenger Melbourne heavyweight Lee Simpson new managing partner at M&C Saatchi
Senior Clemenger BBDO Melbourne executive Lee Simpson has jumped ship to move to M&C Saatchi Sydney.
Simpson has been named the new managing partner at M&C Saatchi and is expected to work across the agency’s portfolio of clients.
The executive has had stints at Grey in London and Beattie McGuinness Bungay before joining AMV BBDO in London.
Simpson joined Clemenger in Melbourne to work on the NAB business and was part of a team that helped the agency win the MLC investment account.
In one of the agency’s biggest coups, Simpson also led the team which won the business for the Victorian Traffic Accident Commission (VTAC), unseating the account from Grey Melbourne after an award winning 24-year run.
Other business wins include Clemenger capturing Crownbet.
During his time at the agency, Simpson was also instrumental in developing an internal training curriculum that has since been adopted across the Clemenger Group.
