M&C Saatchi hires US-based Najla Haddad as chief product officer

M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ has tapped Najla Haddad for the newly created role of chief product officer.

Haddad, who will return to Australia after more than a decade in the US, will lead M&C’s relationship with Commonwealth Bank across the group while also leading the company’s CX product suite.

“Najla is a brilliant addition to our Group Executive team as we continue to bring the best original thinkers and specialists together to realise big ambitions for our clients. She has worked for some of the world’s most progressive brands in one of the most competitive markets in the world, and now will spearhead the continued investment in our customer and CX product suite,” M&C Saatchi Group chief executive Justin Graham said.

“We could not be more thrilled that she has joined M&C Saatchi Group on her return to Australian shores.”

Haddad was most recently CX, CRM and Loyalty lead at VMLY&R at its New York office, a role she held since 2021. Prior to that, she was global digital transformation lead at the firm from 2019 to 2021.

Also in New York, Haddad spent time at Digitas North America from 2017 to 2019, and Ogilvy from 2012 to 2016. In Australia, she worked at Ogilvy as senior account director from 2009 to 2011, and worked at Enfatico, RMG Connect and 3D World Publishing.

Speaking on her new role, Haddad said: “I’m delighted to be joining the M&C Saatchi Group at a time when digital transformation is front and centre.”
