M&C Saatchi Performance taps APAC boss Kabeer Chaudhary to be global CEO

M&C Saatchi Performance has promoted its APAC managing director Kabeer Chaudhary to global chief executive officer.

Chaudhary replaces outgoing CEO James Hilton, who will continue on as chairman. Hilton founded Inside Mobile in 2006 before it was acquired and renamed M&C Saatchi Performance.

It was one of the world’s first mobile marketing agencies.

Chaudhary joined in 2015 and has served as APAC boss, based in Singapore, for the past two years, helping to strengthen the agency’s position in the region.

“It is a huge honour for me to take on the CEO role from James and further expand on the exceptional legacy he has created,” he said.

“During my time at M&C Saatchi Performance, I have witnessed first-hand the hard work which has led us to becoming a trusted and recognized performance marketing powerhouse. My focus will remain on driving incremental business growth for our clients while expanding our portfolio of services and geographies.”

In his new remit, he will manage operations across APAC, Europe, the Middle East and the United States, working closely with country heads and global leadership.

He will continue to run APAC operations until a replacement is found.

Of the appointment, Hilton said: “In Kabeer we have a dynamic and respected leader with a clear vision for the agency’s future.

“Over the past eight years working at M&C Saatchi Performance, he has been gaining trust and recognition from our team and clients taking our APAC business to the next level and driving operational excellence.

“Kabeer is a renowned digital marketing expert and has a distinctive ability to put people first. I am looking forward to seeing what we will achieve with him at the helm.”
