M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment’s general manager Jack Lamacraft departs

The general manager of M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment has departed after more than eight years in the role.

Posting to LinkedIn, Lamacraft said: “After over 8 amazing years today is my last at M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, the next chapter will see me back in London from February.

Lamacraft has exited the agency after eight years

“For everyone I have worked with in Sydney it’s been amazing, for everyone I once worked with in London see you very soon.”

Lamacraft joined M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment in 2009 after departing PR agency Weber Shandwick where he was an account director.

Throughout his career, Lamacraft has worked in the UK as an account director at Exposure and an account manager at Frank PR.

A spokesperson from M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment told Mumbrella he would be greatly missed and the agency is currently looking for a replacement.

In November, M&C Saatchi S&E recruited Jon Kelly as its creative director.

Earlier in the year the agency hired Duncan Shields from Deloitte Australia as its creative group lead.

Lamacraft has been approached for comment.
