McCann Melbourne’s managing director Anita Deutsch-Burley resigns
The managing director of McCann Melbourne, Anita Deutsch-Burley, has departed the agency after 11 months in the role.
Deutsch-Burley has been at the agency since 2015 and has held roles including executive director, general manager and managing director.
The managing director was promoted from her previous role in October last year when the Melbourne agency filled gaps left by staff who defected to Deloitte.
Deutsch-Burley replaced former Melbourne managing director Adrian Mills, who exited the agency to launch Deloitte Digital’s new brand creative and media offering.
Mumbrella understands Deutsch-Burley announced her resignation in May before Nicole Taylor started as CEO at the agency.
Taylor replaced former CEO Ben Lilley, who stepped down to relocate to France with his family.
Meanwhile, McCann Sydney’s managing director Adam Lee also exited the company earlier this month.
McCann confirmed the departure to Mumbrella. Deutsch-Burley has been approached for comment.
