McDonald’s promote new chicken burgers with competing chefs

To promote its new range of chicken burgers McDonald’s has kicked off a new campaign which sees competing McDonald’s chefs congratulating each other on the ingredients in the new menu offering.

Created by DDB Sydney, the two spots to promote the Southwest BLT Chicken Bacon Deluxe and Spicy Jalapeño sees two male chefs face off and two female chefs face off. The ads both end with the tagline “McDonald’s have raised the bar in flavour”.

The campaign launched this month and is running across TV, outdoor, radio, digital and social.

At the end of last month McDonald’s put DDB Sydney on alert, putting its digital and social account up for pitch.
