McKenzie Partners acquires stake in PR agency EMG

Creative agency McKenzie Partners has acquired a 50% stake in public relations agency Effectus Marketing Group (EMG).

The partnership will see both agencies collectively offer services including media strategy, creative, production and PR to a greater range of clients.

McKenzie said: “this partnership will help us to strengthen our offering.”

McKenzie Partners acquired a stake in EMG with the hope of bolstering its client portfolio that includes travel and leisure, health and wellbeing, home improvement and real-estate.

Darren McKenzie, CEO of McKenzie Partners, said in a statement: “We decided to collaborate with EMG after recognising the number of PR opportunities across our client base that we weren’t able to service.

“For example, PR can assist with leveraging ambassador partnerships, brand positioning and building trust in the market, which are all very important to dealerships.”

Paul Cooke, EMG director, said: “The automotive industry has always been an area of interest for the business, so this opportunity is our chance to explore the role of PR at a dealership level. It’s also a chance to offer existing and prospective clients a well rounded offering of services by combining our skills and expertise.”
