Advertising agency McKenzie Partners has won the accounts for Sumo Salad, its grab-and-go meal label Sumo Well and its meal delivery brand Thr1ve.

The agency’s remit will include creative, digital and social media.

McKenzie Partners will be working with Sumo Salad and its Sumo Well and Thr1ve brands

Sumo Salad went into voluntary administration in June 2018, with a deed of company arrangement process completed the following August.

Thr1ve launched almost seven years ago and was acquired by Sumo Salad earlier this year. Sumo Well was launched in 2018.

McKenzie Partners CEO, Darren McKenzie, commented: “Sumo Salad, Sumo Well and Thr1ve all offer unique nutrition solutions for Australians. With the ever-changing food landscape and the growing popularity of grab-and-go meals, our job will be to educate the Australian market about these fantastic healthy alternatives. It’s an exciting opportunity to challenge existing perceptions of convenience foods.”

Luke Baylis, Sumo Salad CEO, said: “Our business is growing and we’re confident that McKenzie is the best partner for this exciting new phase. McKenzie Partners has exceptional creative and strategic vision. We are looking forward to building the Sumo and Thr1ve brands together and sharing our passion for healthy and delicious food with even more Australians.”
