M&C’s Bohemia picks up the media account for Chemist 2 U

Chemist 2 U has appointed M&C Saatchi Group’s media agency Bohemia to its media strategy, planning and buying across all channels.

Bohemia has been hired to help the business expand across Australia.

Chemist 2 U, an on-demand prescription and over the counter medicine delivery service, launched in Brisbane in 2020 as a pilot market. Purchases are able to be made via an app or through its website.

Chemist 2 U’s Matthew Cullen, said: “Chemist 2 U is the next revolution in healthcare, transforming how Australians access their medicines and pharmacy supplies, by bringing same day delivery straight to their door. We’re looking forward to working with Bohemia on this pivotal stage in our national expansion.”

Chemist 2 U’s ads will be placed in GP and hospital waiting areas and on health website myDr.com.au. Chemist 2 U is owned by Tonic Media Network which own a vast array of media assets across health locations.

Bohemia CEO, Brett Dawson, said: “We see Chemist 2 U as a real disrupter in the Australian marketplace, providing a mutual benefit to doctors, pharmacy owners and consumers. We love the team’s ambition and are excited to partner with them.”

Last month, Bohemia appointed Chloe Schneider as head of content. The addition of Chemist 2 U closely follows the agency picking up the media account for Eftpos.
