Ian Perrin out as Naked reverts to management triumvirate formula

Swann, Halpin, Pritchard

The Sydney office of Naked Communications has reverted to a triumvirate managing partner structure that sees Paul Swann, John Halpin and Karla Pritchard promoted, and MD Ian Perrin leave the agency.

Perrin resigned last week after two years in the role, and is joining another as yet unnamed agency.

Exit: Perrin

“Ian’s been brilliant,” said Naked’s ANZ chairman Mike Wilson. “He inherited a difficult situation after Matt Baxter left and rose to the challenge. He goes with our best wishes.”

Paul Swann was formerly head of ideas, John Halpin was regional strategy director and Karla Pritchard was head of communications strategy.

The management triumvirate has been a Naked trait since the agency launched in the UK, and later in Australia with founding partners Mat Baxter, Mike Wilson and Adam Ferrier.

“John and Paul and have been with us seven years. Karla four years. They have Naked blood running through their veins, and are the natural choice to replicate the most successful business model in our history,” said Wilson.

The news follows the promotion of Adam Ferrier to global head of behavioural sciences, Phil Hayden to CEO of Naked Asia Pacific and Mike Wilson to chairman of Australia and New Zealand.
