Media industry colleagues mourn passing of Craig Corcoran

Media industry veteran Craig Corcoran passed away last Tuesday night.

Corcoran had a long career in the industry, having spent 35 years working in the Australian media market, most recently as account director, independent agencies and direct clients, for ARN.

Corcoran leaves behind wife Katrina, and his four children Jack, Madi, Harry and Sophie.

Longtime friend and colleague of Corcoran and CEO of Omnicom Media Group ANZ, Peter Horgan, took to Media Federation of Australia’s (MFA) LinkedIn page to notify the industry of the news.

“Dear Colleagues,

Sad news that our industry friend and fabulous human Craig Corcoran passed on Tuesday night. Leaving wife Katrina and kids Jack, Madi, Harry and Sophie. A service will be held at Macquarie Park Cemetery 2.30 Friday 1st April. We have booked an area at The Great Northern Hotel from 3.20. All colleagues and friends are welcome to join in raising a glass to his warmth and generosity in the many lives he touched. Vale Corky.

The service for Corcoran will be held at Macquarie Park Cemetary at 2:30pm this Friday the 1st of April, with colleagues and friends invited to join Corcoran’s family in celebrating his life at The Great Northern Hotel from 3:20pm.
