Media monitoring business Streem appoints first chief customer officer

Media monitoring company Streem has promoted Nina Harriott as its first chief customer officer.

Harriott has been with the business for almost four years, most recently as senior account manager.

“Nina was one of Streem’s first two hires nearly four years ago and has done an outstanding job as senior account manager servicing the needs of comms teams from the nation’s biggest companies and government departments,” CEO Elgar Welch said.

“As we continue to grow, we need to maintain our hard-won reputation for first-class customer service, and Nina is the perfect person to lead that.”

When Harriott joined in 2017, Streem had two employees, and has since grown to approximately 70, servicing almost 250 clients including Telstra, Qantas, Samsung, IAG, Commonwealth Bank, and the Prime Minister’s Office.

“As a realtime service, we’ve always prided ourselves on being responsive to clients’ needs. That’s why we have a team of experienced account managers on tap all day, every day,” Harriott added.

“Streem account managers take product ownership in the platform, advocate for customers and help ensure new features are delivered quickly. That is something my new role allows to be elevated further.

“Some of our most cherished platform features have come about through listening to our customers, understanding their problems and developing a solution that helps not just them but all of our clients.”
