Media monitoring service Meltwater appoints Cimon Constantine to lead ANZ in regional reshuffle
Media monitoring firm Meltwater has appointed Cimon Constantine to lead its Australian and New Zealand operations, replacing former ANZ lead, David Hickey, who is taking on the role of director of strategy for the APAC region.
In July, the company won the NSW whole of government contract for media monitoring, estimated to be worth $9 million. Recently the media intelligence startup has added American Express, Greenpeace, GSK, Singapore Airlines and TradeMe to its roster.

I’m not sure if you should call Meltwater a startup – they’ve been offering Media Monitoring in Australia for over 10 years.
I was about to point out the same thing, Gibbo. Not to mention they were an already established business internationally prior to their arrival on Australian shores.
By any definition, I think they are far from a start-up. An upstart perhaps, but not a start-up.
Would be great to see an article on how the NSW government contract is going for them
