Media Stable names Simon Hopkins as Sydney GM

Media Stable has appointed Simon Hopkins as Sydney general manager, after opening its Sydney office this month.

Hopkins was previously the commercial director at Content Shed, and joins Media Stable to “identify individuals that media will be looking to engage with over the next five years” and build media relationships.

“We haven’t been neglecting Sydney, we are there every couple of weeks, but having Simon on the ground means we don’t have to build and service this key market from other offices.” said Nic Hayes, Managing Director of Media Stable.

“Simon certainly has the business acumen, drive and passion to take Media Stable to that next level of success.

“He is media agency trained and has honed his planning, buying and negotiating skills with blue chip clients such as Hyundai, McDonald’s, American Express and Toyota. Later in his career he transferred his skills to marketing strategy and commercial sales negotiation for media publishers, broadcasters and content marketing agencies both locally and abroad.”

Media Stable connects media and experts, and said this “is a very important appointment” that is expected to elevate Media Stable’s “level of quality and professionalism”.

Media Stable also has offices in Perth and Brisbane.
