Daylight agency launches risk and reputation specialist First Light Consulting

Communications agency Daylight agency has launched a specialist risk and reputation advisory First Light Consulting.

First Light will be offering a list of services including issues and crisis communications, litigation communications and government relations.

Chris Gray, managing director of Daylight, said that the new division meets industry demand for brand reputation consulting.

“Brand reputation is considered one of a company’s greatest assets. It can take years to build and just minutes to destroy. In today’s ‘always-on’ world, organisations need to understand the risks at play in their business and the techniques required to maintain reputational health,” said Gray.

“We have all witnessed the reputational damage high profile brands have suffered in recent times when they have failed to get the mix right between ‘promotion’ and ‘protection’. We’re excited to be expanding our services to help organisations maintain and restore brand health and further ‘promote and protect’ their business and brand.”

The First Light Consulting team will be lead by Gray and David Begg, who was hired in May last year when the agency launched its government relations division.

Daylight Agency launched in 2017 when ICON International Communications merged with advertising consultancy chris+geoff. Last November, Daylight Agency joined the global independent network Worldwide Partners Inc, which holds more than 70 agencies.
