Mediabrands’ Airborne hires Andrew Sidwell in creative strategy role
Mediabrands’ creative agency Airborne has hired Andrew Sidwell in a newly created role as as creative strategy and ideas director. Sidwell was formerly national creative solutions and ideas director at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA).
Sidwell will work primarily with Airborne managing director Scott Player and other business leaders. He was responsible for setting up the Austereo Innovation Group and had headed up the Kia and Federal Government business for the broadcaster.
Player said in a release: “Andrew is a unique talent. Full stop. I have had the pleasure of working with him in the past and he is digitally savvy, a dynamic and surprising thinker, and a unique problem solver. His talents impact client outcomes in a most demonstrable way and he will be a big asset for Airborne and Mediabrands.”
