MediaCom dominates MFA’s NGen finalists
The Media Federation Awards has announced the six finalists in its NGen category to recognise young talent within the media industry. The list is dominated by MediaCom which has three of the six finalists.
They are:
- Patrick McDonald & Geoff Carbet, PHD ‘At Home And Away – Be Proud To Be Gay’
- Dean Challis & Paul Den, MediaCom ‘Frenemies’
- Alex Ryan & Sam Geer, MediaCom ‘Lessons Learned’
- Jessica Krimuldens, MediaCom ‘Actin’ Up Your Way To Summer Bay’
- Gemma Lasenby, UM ‘Blue For A Day’
- Angus McLean & Edwin Onggo, Mindshare ‘Schoolville’
Entrants were asked to respond to a brief designed to promote conversations around homophobic bullying. homophobic bullying.
The Media Federation Awards take place on October 20.

From memory, the brief was about connecting with School aged kids.
Would be interesting to see the finalists submissions as there are two that look TV centric, purely from looking at the title and arn’t they the generation who dont watch TV anymore?
