Melanoma Institute Australia campaign shows the importance of putting one foot in front of the other
Creative agency Daughter has created a film series, titled ‘Take Steps Forward’, in support of the Melanoma Institute Australia’s annual fundraising and awareness campaign ‘Melanoma March’.
The films follow the stories of a family who have lost a loved one, a family whose loved one survived melanoma, and a family whose member is undergoing treatment. In each of the films the families express what the Melanoma March means to them.
Each film opens with footage of the narrator walking, which later becomes a symbol of how each of the families involved are still putting one foot in front of the other throughout all of the pain that the disease has caused them.
The films were created to stimulate discussions around melanoma and actions and fundraising can bring about change.
A fourth film has also been created following the medical, research and leadership team who are fighting the disease.
The films are being shared socially across online communities and on Melanoma Institute Australia’s Melanoma March digital portal.
