Melbourne’s Vidico launches accounting software firm Reckon’s new ‘All for Small’ campaign

Melbourne-based production company Vidico has launched a new campaign for Australian accounting software firm Reckon, touting its focus on small businesses.

Called “All for Small”, the campaign aims to highlight Reckon’s contrast to larger accounting software companies like Xero and MYOB.

The campaign, the third collaboration between Vidico and Reckon, features two bakery co-owners looking to take their business to the next level.

“‘All for Small’ calls out the fact that Reckon has supported small Australian businesses since being founded over 30 years ago,” Reckon general manager of marketing Brad Stevens said.

“Unlike larger accounting software players that target all manner of enterprises, Reckon remains focused and committed to local small businesses.”

Vidico account director Michael Pirone said: “We really resonated with the creative platform of ‘All for Small’. We wanted to aim for relatability and something distinctly Australian.”

“We took the opposite approach to other ads in the space which are highly conceptual, and not really speaking to local Aussie businesses.”

Vidico tapped Abigail Tay and Pius King as the campaign’s producer, while Evan Pirone was the director.

Pirone said: “Reckon is the only accounting, invoicing and payroll software company that’s Australian-owned, which presented a great opportunity to go in a familiar and local creative direction to really separate it from the rest of the accounting field.”
