Parental Guidance launches to 511k on Nine as the network takes the night
The second season of Parental Guidance on Nine premiered to 511,000 metro viewers, while the network also celebrated an overall win.
This was a slight dip to the 629,000 metro viewers attracted by the first season’s launch in 2021. The new season returned with 12 sets of parents, whose parenting styles will be assessed by the host of A Current Affair Ally Langdon and parenting expert Dr Justin Coulson.

However, the entertainment program that won the night was The Chase Australia on Seven with 599,000 metro viewers. It is followed by Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? with 567,000, and The 1% Club with 562,000.
Have You Been Paying Attention? topped two key advertising demos while Seven News claimed the 25-54s.
As mentioned, Nine Network grabbed the most shared in Monday overnights with 28.1%, followed by Seven with 27.2%, Ten with 19.4% and ABC with 17.9%.
The top-rated primary channel of the night was Nine with a 21.4% share, and 7Two was the top-rated multichannel with 3.4%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 29 May, Seven News was the #1 program with a Total TV audience of 1.701 million, with a 3% uplift and 50,000 on BVOD.
The program with the biggest uplift of 40% was 9-1-1 on Seven with 564,000 total audience and 50,000 on national BVOD.
