Melissa Shedden appointed editor of

Melissa Shedden has been appointed editor of, after almost one year as acting editor.

Shedden has spent the last 10 years in media, and was previously editor of health and wellbeing site, She also worked as deputy features editor at Women’s Health and deputy fashion editor at The Sun in London.

Shedden has been acting editor of since January

Felicity Harley, launch editor of, returns from maternity leave and has been appointed editor-at-large of the With Her in Mind Network. Harley will act as a contributor to the network’s sites,, and She will also help with events and commercial opportunities.

Melissa Overman, With Her In Mind Network’s general manager, said Shedden was a talented editor.

“She has a clear understanding of’s content offering and how it adds value to our audiences’ busy lives,” Overman said. “She has delivered outstanding editorial with audience growth of 24% in a competitive digital environment. Shedden said she was incredibly excited by the opportunity.
