Men at Work expands offering to digital

Public relations agency Men at Work is expanding to create a full service digital offering, positioning itself as a creative and PR business.

The agency’s new offerings will include PR, digital production, design, UX, consumer insights, influencer engagement, social media management, content production, SEO and SEM.

Willcocks joined Men at Work in 2011 as creative partner

Michael Willcocks, creative partner at Men at Work, told Mumbrella: “We started out as a traditional public relations agency in its most simple form and as time went on our clients were asking us about other services and the benefit of giving people the full digital offering.

“This extends further past just having one agency working across all those disciplines but actually having an agency that can offer that service, because marketing managers are very busy people so I think that one point of contact (is important), and that’s what clients have been asking us for for some time,” he said.

Men at Work has approached all of its existing clients with some of its current clients jumping “straight on board because they’ve seen what we’ve been able to achieve in a public relations capacity” while others haven’t been able to fit the new offering within their budget.

“When we talk SEO and SEM, the world’s changing people want to be online, they want to be at the top of google and on social media and get people talking about their brand or product, so we have reached out to every single client we’ve got,” Willcocks said.

Men at Work will keep its current branding, and hopes to grow from 13 staff members to 20 by the end of the year.

Adam Mumford, managing director and founder of Men at Work, said in a statement: “PR has changed so significantly in recent years. Competitive PR and content agencies need to develop more holistic digital capabilities to properly service clients and leverage content in the digital space.”

Men at Work’s has recently added Cub Cadet, Wealth Within and Harcourts to its existing client portfolio of Rhino-Rack, Shimano, Fiskars, Kennards Hire, House of Marley, Blackwolf and Suunto Watches.
