Menulog hires Duncan Fredericks as PR manager

Menulog has hired Duncan Fredericks as its public relations manager.

Fredericks will be working with the delivery services’ in-house team and agency partners, focused on driving Menulog’s PR strategy across Australia and New Zealand.

He joins from Pulse, part of OPR, where he spent three-and-a-half years and left as a senior account manager. Prior to that, he spent three years at One Green Bean.

Fredericks said: “There’s a huge opportunity for growth in the industry and I’m excited to be part of a brand that is known for such creative and memorable work in the market.”

Lisa Brown, Menulog’s head of PR and communications, welcomed Fredericks to the team.

“We’re excited to have Duncan join the growing team, at a time when Menulog and the online food delivery industry is growing at a rapid pace in Australia. We’re looking forward to Duncan bringing his experience working across food and tech clients to the brand,” she said.

Menulog’s growth in Australia would be partially attributable to the launch of its new jingle, revamped by Snoop Dogg.

The campaign has appeared consistently across TV, digital, BVOD and out-of-home since it’s launch last June, and continues to attract attention thanks to the famous face that leads it.

It also resulted in a spin-off during last year’s State of Origin series, featuring NRL players signing along to the jingle.
