Michael Selden appointed to Fairfax’s national trading director

Michael Selden has been appointed to Fairfax’s national trading director replacing Paul Bates who moved to Yahoo7 back in April.

The announcement: 

Fairfax Media today announced the appointment of Michael Selden as the new National Trading Director for its Australian Publishing Media division.

Reporting to Commercial Development and Partnership Director Kristiaan Kroon, Selden will be responsible for agency trading relationships across all media platforms. He will oversee and strengthen Fairfax’s agency trading business – building on strong existing agency relationships as well as focusing on new ways to engage advertising partners and fuel revenue growth through new technologies, diverse product offerings and unique trading models. His focus will be to drive ad revenue by working closely with agency partners to develop new commercial opportunities.
