Michelle Carn appointed change manager at Nationwide News

Nationwide News – whose stable of titles include The Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and mX in Sydney – has been appointed as Project Change Manager as the company gets ready for sweeping changes.  

The announcement:

Nationwide News has appointed Michelle Carn to the position of Project Change Manager, with responsibility for coordinating the company’s numerous organisational change and transformation programmes.

In this role Michelle will manage the process and implementation of all Nationwide News change initiatives, driving efficiencies that will result in technical and competitive advantages across all areas of the business.

As the media industry enters a period of unparalleled change, this newly created role will fill a crucial position within the strategic growth of the organisation. Working closely with the company’s Executive Decision Group Michelle will ensure the smooth delivery of all existing and planned change programmes, including the development of a shared services structure and the delivery of company-wide technology implementations.

A highly skilled and respected project management professional, Michelle has held a number of business transformation roles across a diverse range of industries throughout her career. In addition to several business critical regulatory positions within major financial services institutions, her background takes in extensive telco, media and entertainment experience.

The appointment follows recent Nationwide News announcements of senior hires within the marketing, communications and digital divisions.

Michelle will assume the position on July 12th reporting to Nationwide News General Manager Geoff Booth.
