Milk & Honey PR makes its first senior Australian hire in Maggie Gaston
UK-based Milk & Honey PR has made its first senior appointment in Australia, hiring Maggie Gaston as client director.
The UK-based agency announced it would be expanding and opening a Sydney office in November last year.
The agency specialises in reputation management and campaigns with ‘enriched messaging’.
Gaston joins from Lewis Global Communications in Sydney where she spent five years, leaving as an account director. Previously, Gaston was at Touchdown PR.
In her new role, Gaston will be working closely with Milk & Honey managing director, Caroline Addy, to build the agency’s presence in the region.
Gaston said of her new role: “The opportunities that come with joining a business at the start of its journey are incredibly exciting.
“I’m looking forward to focusing on my personal and career growth, as well as championing Milk & Honey’s B Corp values – something I’m very passionate about. I’m ready for a new challenge and can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Addy said: “Making the move from a global to a startup agency shows Maggie’s bravery and belief in herself. As soon as I met her, I knew she shared Milk & Honey’s values.
“It’s no surprise she comes with rave reviews from clients and colleagues alike. This appointment is an important milestone for us in the region. I’m delighted to have such an experienced PR consultant and people-focused leader by my side.”
Milk & Honey’s clients in the UK include Big Commerce, Inner Circle, Price Spy and Get Safe Online.
