Mindshare hires Simon Chard from OMD
Mindshare has hired Simon Chard from OMD as client leader.
The announcement:
Highly experienced media professional Simon Chard is set to join Mindshare Melbourne as a Client Leader, joining the leadership team of the agency.
Chard’s appointment is the latest senior hire for the agency which has focused on hiring and developing unique talent committed to driving strong media led thinking, including the appointment of the Melbourne Managing Director, Anathea Ruys and Melbourne Head of Strategy, Ilona.Janashvili in the last six months.
Most recently Chard spent 8 years at OMD where he was the Business Director working on clients such as AXA and Bupa. Prior to that he led media innovation at Mediaedge:cia and started his career at Nine Network Australia.
With experience across a range of sectors including superannuation, health insurance, telco and charity, he brings to Mindshare significant depth of knowledge.
