Mitchells hires Vas Katos from Mollison to run Spark Communications
Mitchells has appointed Vas Katos as general manager of its PR arm, Spark Communications. Katos joins from Mollison Communications where he held the same position.
He replaces Richard Chapman, who moves to a business development role for Mitchell Communication Group.
At Mollison, Katos worked with clients such as Tennis Australia, Cirque du Soleil, BMW Group Australia and the Arts Centre.
He also has experience working on brands including Village Roadshow, NAB, Spring Racing Carnival and Motorola.
Katos commented: “We specialise in sports, entertainment, lifestyle and youth brands; all the areas I have had a lot of experience in. Also, being part of the Mitchell Communication Group is a huge advantage in so many ways.”
I heard he was also Prime Minister at one point, and also gave Harold Mitchell his first job.
