Mix102.3 unveils Royal Adelaide Show activation

Mix102.3 is creating a branded haunted house, and Jodie & Soda’s Fun Breakfast Showbags, for the Royal Adelaide Show this year.

Mix102.3 has taken its Royal Adelaide Show activations to the next level this year with an outside broadcast for 400 listeners, a branded haunted house, and Jodie & Soda’s Fun Breakfast Showbag.

Launching with an outside broadcast for the start of the show on Friday 1 September,400 of Mix102.3’s selected listeners will join Jodie & Soda ‘First and Free’ from 7am to 9.30am. Guests will enjoy coffee and doughnuts for breakfast, activities for the kids, a ‘selfie station’, a Mix showbag and free exclusive use of show rides from 9am to 9.30am.

For the first time, Mix102.3’s Jodie & Soda have their own showbag on sale featuring 24 goodies for the family including a duffel bag, headphones, vouchers and snacks.

In another first, Mix102.3 has taken over the branding of the Show’s famous Haunted House, promising new and surprising horrors inside. Some celebrities will be taking a tour of the house on Saturday 2 September including AFL footballers, as well as Rohan Nichol and Kestie Morassi from Channel 7’s Home & Away. A spine-tingling teaser for the attraction is being promoted across Mix’s social channels.

Mix102.3’s Content Director Sue Carter said: “The Royal Adelaide Show is the place to be for anyone around town, and this year Mix102.3 will be giving away the most tickets anywhere.

“Mix102.3 will be everywhere at the show – kicking off on Friday with our First and Free Breakfast for 400 people, to the showbag pavilion where you’ll find Jodie and Soda’s Fun Breakfast Showbag, and down sideshow alley to find this year’s hottest new attraction – Jodie and Soda’s Haunted House.
