MKR dominates Wednesday night
The absence of reality shows from Wednesday’s TV schedule gave Seven’s My Kitchen Rules a clear run with an audience of 1.894m.
Nine’s triple bill of The Big Bang Theory was a late replacement for Celebrity Apprentice which was originally due to kick off last night.
Big Bang Theory rated 1.194m, 1.063m and 870,000 according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.
Ten’s Mr & Mrs Murder rated 551,000.
Today and Sunrise had another close battle, with Nine’s breakfast show pipping Seven’s by 352,000 to 351,000. Seven’s The Morning Show (163,000) beat Nine’s Mornings (138,000).
Seven won the night with a share of 27.7 per cent, ahead of Nine’s 18.6 per cent. Ten was on 11 per cent, just behind ABC1’s 11.9. ASBS1 was on 4.5 per cent, while SBS2 had a share of 1 per cent – the first time it has reached that figure since relaunching at the start of the month.
For the week to date, Seven and Nine are neck-and-neck, both on 26 per cent. Next comes ABC1 with 11.6 per cent, followed by Ten’s 10.4 per cent.
Seven also won in all the major advertising demographics last night:

How is the year to date figures for the ratings? Seven was leading but now with The Voice(and only the Voice) nine has won a few weeks so it will be interesting to have the year to date figures. Thanks
