Publicis Mojo has taken a senior executive from Publicis Groupe sibling Saatchi & Saatchi to bolster its management line up – the first key hire of new Mojo CEO Joe Pollard.
Steve Anastasiadis, who runs the Toyota and Luxottica business at Saatchi & Saatchi as executive director, joins as team leader on accounts including Nestle, Toyota and Frontline.
Anastasiadis has had a long spell at Saatchi’s, having left the Sydney office as GM over a decade ago to move to France as regional director running Toyota across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He later became CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, and rejoined the Sydney office as executive director three years ago.

Pollard commented: “Steve is a highly motivated and experienced executive. I am thrilled that he will become part of the leadership team of the agency and will play a key role in helping me accelerate a number of key initiatives”.
Anastasiadis will start in the new role on 3 September.
