Monday ratings blues for Ten

Junior Masterchef mumbrellaIt was another miserable Monday night for Ten in the ratings, with not a single show featuring in the top 15.

It’s biggest rating show was Junior MasterChef, which pulled in 661,000 in the 7.30pm primetime slot.

Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice and The Big Bang Theory trounced it between 7pm and 8.30pm, both drawing north of 1.3m. Seven’s X Factor, on at 7.30pm, also rated with 1.3m.

Like last week, a block of six ABC1 shows including ABC News, Australian Story, Q&A, 7.30, Media Watch and Four Corners pushed Ten down the ratings table.

Today recorded another slender victory over Sunrise, just 10,000 viewers separating the two breakfast shows, according to the preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.
