Monday ratings: Survivor and Idol post highest metro viewers for the season

Seven’s Australian Idol and Ten’s Australian Survivor have refreshed record season metro ratings on Monday night. However, Married At First Sight (MAFS) on Nine topped entertainment again.

After renewing its biggest metro audience number on Sunday night, Survivor saw another uplift overnight on Monday with 540,000 metro viewers.

Idol, meanwhile, also managed to break its season record set in February, pulling in 455,000 metro viewers.

MAFS was the top entertainment program with 854,000 metro viewers on Monday night while also winning all three key advertising demos.

The Chase Australia on Seven brought in 498,000 metro audience, followed by the network’s Home and Away, with 497,000 metro viewers.

The premiere of Would I Lie To You? on Ten after Survivor attracted 256,000 metro viewers.

Nine network won the night with a 31.6% overall share, followed by Seven with 25.8%, Ten with 17.7% and ABC with 17.4%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with a 25% share, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.4%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 27 February, Married at First Sight on Nine last Monday was the #1 program nationally with 1.91 million Total TV viewers, including 587,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 59%.
