Mondelez, Starcom and Clean Thinking join Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit as full program announced

Paul Chatfield, Mondelez International director of marketing, chocolate for Australia and New Zealand, will take part in a state of the industry panel session at the Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit on March 21 in Sydney.

Chatfield will be joined by Starcom CEO Toby Barbour and former CEO of Ella Baché, Karen Matthews, who now runs her own company as a business reinvention specialist.

The trio will round out the day by discussing the key issues impacting retail and FMCG sectors including the challenges facing businesses, how marketers are responding to changing consumer habits, disruptive new technologies as well those disrupting the industry.

All three panel members have significant experience as marketers at brands, with Barbour previously having held senior marketing roles at Sony and Olympus before joining Starcom.

Also confirmed is a session from Clean Thinking’s co-founders, James Sykes and James Greet, who will tackle the issue of siloed thinking and its effect on retail in an eye-opening session.

Sykes’ previous role was as global head of innovation and design at Beam Suntory, while Greet has held CEO roles at Mindshare, OMD and Ikon Communications.
