MTV loses its top sales exec
MTV Networks’ director of advertising sales has quit the music broadcaster for a senior role at Fairfax Digital.
The departure of Sharb Farjami to replace Fairfax Digital’s departing national sales director Trent Lloyd follows a series of changes at Fairfax Digital.
In one of the biggest moves, Ed Harrison shifted from outdoor firm JC Decaux to the newly created role of commercial director of media. He starts early in the New Year.
Harrison will in turn be replaced by Max Eburne, currently director of Première at JCDecaux UK.
Lloyd’s departure from Fairfax Digital was relatively rapid – he had only been in the job since the beginning of last year.
Meanwhile, Farjami’s departure leaves MTV Networks with few senior sales figures in place.
