I could only watch in horror, between my fingers. A bit like Black Swan.
It would be genuinely helpful to the industry if we could get a case study, from brief to final, cringeworthy execution in order to learn how such things can possibly happen, and how we can avoid them. What succession of compromises, cowardice, bullying, weak-will, and plain old fashioned bad judgements could have lead to this?
Has there been any comment about those awful KFC ads, where they were encouraging people to buy takeaway instead of eating leftovers? What a terrible message that was to send people! I haven’t seen the ads in a couple of weeks, so maybe they got the axe?
