Mumbrella announces Finance Marketing Summit featuring Australia’s biggest banking, insurance and finance brands

Mumbrella is to extend its summit series with an exploration of the marketing secrets of Australia’s most successful banks, insurance companies, superannuation companies and investment houses.

The Mumbrella Finance Marketing Summit takes place at Sydney’s Amora Jamison Hotel on September 22. It joins Mumbrella’s series of summits covering travel marketing, sports marketing and retail marketing.

Among the international speakers for the Finance Marketing Summit are former US intelligence analyst Drew Perez, founder of Adatos who has pioneered the use of artificial intelligence to drive data analysis for marketing outcomes. Perez will present a case study from the financial marketing segment.

Topics covered by the summit include content strategies, virtual reality advertising, stunts, sponsorships and the underlying importance of data. The one-day summit will cover all aspects of finance marketing including fintech, loyalty, the rise of apps, the changing nature of the customer experience, the challenges of reputation management and the changing face of payments.

Sessions will include how banks are finding their way to the must have millennials demographic through targeted content strategies and how artificial intelligence data analysis methods developed by CIA and US military are now being used by marketers to create better outcomes in the banking and insurance industries.

The challenges of reputation management in the social era where a single tweet of complaint can unleash a social and mainstream media storm will also be the focus of a panel session feature communications leaders from around the industry.

BeyondD will reveal how marketing has moved from “anyone with a mouse” to deep levels of personalisation allowing businesses to optimise their conversion rates based on what individuals are now doing online.
