Mumbrella CommsCon Awards entries now open

Entries into the 2020 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards are now open, with 28 categories across content, social, people, campaigns and business.

Adding to the existing list, the CommsCon Awards now has a new award for PR-led content creation.

Almost 350 entries were received this year for the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards

It will acknowledge the exceptional work of an in-house communications team or agency that has created content used in a campaign.

Plus, the existing award categories will carry over for 2020 including Best Use of Technology in a Campaign, Best Influencer Strategy, Pro Bono Campaign of the Year, Best PR Employer, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, Best Use of Owned Media and more.

Last year, WE Buchan took home Large PR Agency of the Year while Opr’s Richard Brett was named PR Leader of the Year. Red Havas’ Palau Pledge took home Best Government Sponsored Campaign and Best B2C Campaign.

Other winners included Edelman, Character, CHE Proximity, Sauce Communications, Seven Communications, Finder, Hotwire Australia, Campaign Lab and Xero Australia.

The first entry deadline is December 13, 2019. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on April 2, 2020, at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney at the conclusion of the Mumbrella CommsCon conference.
