The Mumbrella CommsCon Awards gala dinner returns in 2021

Entries for the 2021 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards are now open, with 25 categories across content, social, people, campaigns and business.

There is also a new, one-off category, added to the awards list: Best Responses to COVID-19. This award aims to acknowledge exceptional work by an in-house communications team or agency during what was a tumultuous 2020.

Other carry-over award categories include Best Use of Technology in a Campaign, Best Influencer Strategy, Pro Bono Campaign of the Year, Best PR Employer, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, and Best Use of Owned Media, as well as the popular PR Agency of the Year awards.

Last year’s awards ceremony had to be cancelled last minute due to COVID-19 and shifted online. Eleven took home Large PR Agency of the Year while Gemma Hudson of WE Communications took home PR Leader of the Year.

In the campaign categories, CampaignLab and Clemenger PR took home B2B and B2C Campaign of the Year respectively.

First entry deadline is March 19 with winners announced at the gala dinner on 27 May.

The Mumbrella CommsCon Awards is the first of a line of events and initiatives Mumbrella will announce over the coming weeks.
