Mumbrella launches video series Mumbrella360: Shorts starting next week

Mumbrella will host a new video series, Mumbrella360: Shorts, with the first episode dropping next week, on Tuesday 5 October.

Mumbrella360: Shorts has been created in collaboration with speakers that were set to appear at Mumbrella360 2021, which would have begun today had it not been cancelled due to the Sydney COVID-19 lockdown.

A range of speakers that would have taken the stage have contributed videos on the same or similar topics to what they would have delivered at the event.

The videos will be made available directly on Mumbrella and are free to view. There are 11 in total and a new one will drop every day until the end of the series.

“While it was a shame for Mumbrella to have to cancel Mumbrella360 2021, especially after successfully holding Mumbrella CommsCon in front of a packed crowd, it was an equal shame for the many speakers who had put in significant effort creating their sessions,” said Mumbrella’s head of content, Damian Francis.

“There were a record number of session submissions for Mumbrella360 2021. We wanted to give the speakers who were well down the creation path the opportunity to still share their session, and give the audience the chance to see what they had in store.

“Mumbrella360: Shorts will hopefully provide the industry with some invaluable content that will inspire and shape marketing strategies towards the end of this year and into 2022, when Mumbrella will be back in force in the event space.”

The videos will also sport the new sonic identity Mumbrella is working on in conjunction with Resonance.
