Mumbrella to run community managers masterclass in Melbourne
Mumbrella is to run a Melbourne masterclass for people working in the relatively new role of online community manager.
It takes place on the afternoon of Tuesday September 6.
The program has been developed by Kim McKay of Klick Communications. A similar program run by Mumbrella in Sydney earlier this month was a sellout.
The speakers include Grace Gordon, social media manager of digital agency Rodeo, which is part of Aegis Media. Gordon will be examining the main social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+ and Twitter available to brands and organisations looking to build a community. Her session will break down the primary benefits and features of each platform, and offer tips around building and managing a community.
Tim Evans, digital strategy director, with Ogilvy Group Melbourne, will talk about how to measure ROI in the social media space.
Dan Azzopardi, digital strategist with Klick Communications, will talk about how brands should present themselves in a conversation with consumers.
Andy Cronin, a community manager at Visual Jazz, will offer advice on how to handle a social media crisis. And Bryony Cole, enterprise relationship manager at Yammer will present a case study.
A maximum of 70 places are available. Tickets for the session are priced at $199. Details of how to book are available here (PDF).
