Mumbrella360 visits rise by 23% to 3,373 in 2017

The number of visits to Mumbrella360 this year rose above 3,000 for the first time, newly released data from the Audited Media Association of Australia reveals.

A total of 2,086 unique visitor attendances were recorded across the two-and-a-half days of the conference in June. This was up by 25% on 2016.

Taking into account international and local speakers, along with exhibitors and media, this rose to a total attendance of 2,345, an increase of 22%.

And the total number of visits rose to 3,373 from 2,739 in 2016, up by 23%.

In 2012, Mumbrella360 became the first event to offer exhibitors and sponsors the third party verification of audited attendance numbers, and has continued to publish audited numbers covering unique visitors, total attendance and number of visits in the five years since.

This year, the biggest single group of attendees were from a marketing background, making up 40% of the audience. This was followed by 30% from agencies and 12% from media companies.

Mumbrella360 returns to Sydney from June 12 to 14 in 2018. And  Mumbrella360 also takes place in Singapore for the first time this November.

The gathering has twice been named conference of the year at the Australian Event Awards.
