Mumbrella360 launches for 2020 with Grey Group global leader and Meatless Farm Co’s CMO, plus session submissions now open

Mumbrella360, Australia’s largest and only audited media and marketing conference, returns in 2020 with two global industry leaders already confirmed.

Grey Group president, global health and wellness, Jason Kahner, who was involved in some of the most talked about creative work recently including Gillette’s ‘First Shave’ and Walgreens’ ‘Battle Beautifully’, will fly in from New York.

Kahner has been with Grey Group since 2005 and led award-winning teams across a variety of global brands including Sensodyne, Botox, Playtex, GE Healthcare, Microsoft, NFL, HSBC, US National Parks and more.

Meanwhile, Leeds-based Lone Thomsen, CMO of the Meatless Farm Co, who has previously held roles including head of media and connection for The Coca-Cola Company, global strategy director at UM and global strategy partner at Carat, has also been confirmed to speak.

Thomsen made headlines recently for leaving the global beverage giant to initially consult for Meatless Farm Co which has products in the UK, Sweden, Hong Kong, Canada and the UAE.

The company also recently signed an equity deal with the UK’s Channel 4 which gave the brand regional airtime and digital inventory in exchange for a stake in the company.

Submissions are also open for session ideas at Mumbrella360. Each year around 60 industry submitted sessions are added to the program, making Mumbrella360’s agenda one that is largely set by the industry.

Successful sessions often include well known international or national industry leaders, exclusive research or case studies, unique ideas or structures or new ways of thinking about the biggest industry challenges.

Submission is simple and can be done via the portal here. Multiple ideas are welcome. The submissions portal closes on January 30, 2020.

Inspiration for ideas can be found on MumbrellaPro, with videos of the majority of Mumbrella360 sessions over the past four years available to watch, and audio from last week’s Mumbrella360 Asia going online in the coming weeks.

MumbrellaPro features a back catalogue of videos from Mumbrella360 dating back to 2015
