Mumbrella360 masterclasses unveiled with podcasting, AI, analytics, PR, design, outsourcing and B2B among topics

Topics and presenters for the masterclass stream of this June’s Mumbrella360 conference have today been revealed.

Topics being covered in the Masterclass program, which runs as part of Mumbrella360 in Sydney on June 7 and 8, include podcasting; how to create great B2B content; mobile customer acquisition; social intelligence tools; using PR for public good; music licensing; how to successfully outsource overseas; artificial intelligence; how to apply human-centred design; content marketing strategies; analytics for marketers; how to write agency contracts; and how to have impact at face-to-face events.

Corbett: Podcasting masterclass

The sessions:

  • The Exhibition & Event Association of Australia will run a practical session on How to be memorable in today’s ‘experience’ economy with speakers including Eventbrite’s GM Phil Dilverstone; Hair Expo event director Julia Erben and Infosalans Group CEO Joanne Kelleway.
  • Broadcaster Rachel Corbett, creator of Podschool.com.au will offer a crash course in the basics of producing a great podcast;
  • Simon Rumble, co-founder of Snowflake Analytics, will offer a session on the evolution of digital analytics and how marketers can get the most out of them;
  • LinkedIn marketer Nell Norman-Nott will share strategies for creating great B2B content;
  • M&C Saatchi Mobile’s APAC MD Chris Steedman will share global best practice on customer acquisition on mobile;
  • Mireille Ryan, CEO of the Social Media Marketing Institute, will offer advice on the best tools to allow brands to monitor and react to social signals;
  • Adland lawyer Stephen von Muenster will follow up on a conference session on the latest issues in media transparency with a practical session – aimed at both marketers and agencies – on how to draw up an agency contract;
  • Insight Communications co-founders Clare Collins and Alice Collins will look at PR strategies for social change in the health, community and government sectors;
  • Music Mill boss Bruce Tweedie will offer tips on finding and buying the right music to use in ads;
  • Aimee Engelmann, founder of Outsource Heroes, will offer advice on how to succeed in outsourcing, and the mistakes to avoid;
  • J Walter Thompson’s group digital creative director Jay Morgan will offer a primer on developing marketing issues in the growth of artificial intelligence;
  • DT’s lead designer Callan Rowe will offer insights into how to manage the research and design process within the creative world.
  • The White Agency’s head of design practice Davy Rennie will talk about how to design human-centric products;
  • Catherine Dix, head of content marketing and SEO at Web Profits, will offer practical advice on how to get content in front of digital audiences.
