Mumbrella360 reveals full program, adding international speakers alongside Unilever, Uber and Tourism Australia

Mumbrella has revealed the full program for Mumbrella360, adding new speakers including Grey Malaysia’s chief creative officer Graham Drew, Unilever ANZ’s CEO Nicole Sparshott, Uber’s head of partnership marketing APAC Rebecca Kemp and Tourism Australia’s CMO Susan Coghill.

Kuala Lumpur-based Graham Drew will co-present with Michael Knox, speaking on the experience of making their podcast The Imposterous, a series on the prevalence of Imposter Syndrome in the creative industry. Based on stories of guests from the podcast – some internationally renowned – the pair examines the issues of mental health and insecurity in the industry that deserve to be confronted.

Nicole Sparshott will join a panel discussion with Capgemini’s Dr James Robey and Fielder’s joint MD Kinda Grange, addressing how brands should shape their sustainability messaging amid challenges of climate change. Moderated by Douglas Nicol of The Works, the panelists will dissect issues around transparency, supply chains and “green-sheening”.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Kemp will join Ben Cooper, founder of Tricky Jigsaw under M&C Saatchi, discussing how Uber manages to keep its workforce connected even in times of isolation. With examples from the company’s APAC arm, the presentation explores how to recentre creativity and adaptability in workplaces.

Also confirmed for the event is Susan Coghill, who will sit with PLH Research’s Phillipa Roberts, Spotify’s Belle Taylor and Audi Australia’s former CMO Nikki Warburton to look at the political side of marketing. As brands set to monetise topics like “fempowerment” and feminism, the panel will discuss how brands should avoid systematic “brandsplaining” and create genuine messaging.

This year’s program features 60 sessions and 14 masterclasses, with international speakers coming from Denver, London, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Paris.

Returning to the stage for the first time since 2019, Mumbrella360 2022 sees further senior leaders from various industries among the lineup. Thinkerbell’s Adam Ferrier returns while AstraZeneca’s Melissa Millard, Special Group’s Lindsey Evans, VMLY&R’s Alison Tilling and DoubleVerify’s Imran Masood will also speak.

Mumbrella360, Australia’s largest media and marketing conference, will take place at the Hilton Hotel on 20-21 July. Early bird ticket sale ends on 6 May. The full program can be found here.
