Mumbrellacast: Why WPP keeps merging its agencies, and the men who rebranded Woolies

Joining us in the studio for this week’s Mumbrellacast are the brains behind one of Australia’s most celebrated rebrands: designer Hans Hulsbosch and ex-Woolworths marketer Luke Dunkerley (17:00).

Dunkerley and Hulsbosch worked together on rebranding supermarket giant Woolworths, including the famous green ‘W’.

Ten years on from the big launch, we speak to the pair to discover why Coles is red and Woolies is green, how to build a partnership that lasts, and how to design a timeless logo.

We also ask the pair what they think of the Mumbrella rebrand, and Hulsbosch wonders where his cheque is.
