Murdoch’s mea culpa turns off ACA audience as Gruen goes out with 1.4m
Australia’s Next Top Muddle may have dominated media conversations on Wednesday, but Sarah Murdoch’s side of the story failed to set A Current Affair’s ratings alight.
The show rated an average audience of 1.124m for Nine according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
It was ninth for the night, well behind Seven’s Today Tonight, which was fifth with 1.335m.
This may also be a reflection of the size of the audience of the actual show – small audience relative to FTAs mean fewer people saw it than the fuss of it – wildly on social media that night and then mainstream – I would think only a fraction of the real time audience would find ACA of interest?
