My Kitchen Rules: the cookbook launches
Seven Media Group and Pacific Magazines’ custom publishing arm Pacific+ have launched a paperback brand extension of the TV series My Kitchen Rules. The 132-page My Kitchen Rules: The Cookbook goes on sale today for $12.95 – less than half the price of MasterChef: The Cookbook.
The “one of a kind publication” features recipes from the show.
“With the backing of a hugely successful TV series, the My Kitchen Rules cookbook is a one of a kind publication designed to further satisfy the interests of the strong, loyal My Kitchen Rules following,” said Gillian Fitzgerald, publisher, Pacific+.
My Kitchen Rules: The cookbook will be promoted in print, online, on TV (7, 7Two, 7Mate and Prime) and Radio.
The first volume of MasterChef Australia: the cookbook went on sale in 2009 for $39.99 and was the best-selling book in Australia after its first full week on sale, according to Nielsen BookScan.
MasterChef also launched as a magazine in November 2009.
MasterChef: the cookbook Volume 2, which contains 272 pages, launched in December 2010 for the same price, although the content is viewable free online. The first volume of Junior MasterChef: the cookbook launched in March this year.
I believe that Pete Evan’s fake blue eyes will be available at Coles from next week.
